Dispute Resolution Practice
Elizabeth is an experienced senior litigator in the High Court and County Court. Her dispute resolution practice encompasses commercial matters such as breach of contract, director/shareholder disputes and professional negligence. She is experienced in handling civil claims arising from criminal offences and also breach of privacy injunctions. There is often an international element to her matters with cross-border jurisdictional issues. Her commercial and employment practices frequently overlap in areas of breaches of restrictive covenant claims, employee and director and shareholder disputes.

Elizabeth heads the Employment Team at DWFM Beckman.
She acts for both employees and employer clients at Board and specialises in senior executive employment issues. She is regularly instructed to advise and provide support Human Resources professionals and teams. She has experience representing both Claimants and Respondents in Employment Tribunal proceedings and all aspects of employment claims (including unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and discrimination matters).
The non-contentious element of Elizabeth’s employment practice includes advising and assisting employers from start up to cessation of businesses. To include recruitment training, drafting staff contracts and handbooks, restrictive covenants, work place policies such as data protection policies, assisting with workplace issues including restructuring and redundancy consultations, Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE), disciplinary and grievance policies and procedures.
She is recommended by her clients for providing a first class level of service and for her fast, insightful and pragmatic advice.

Qualifications & Experience
Elizabeth joined DWFM Beckman as a partner in the Dispute Resolution and Employment teams in 2006. She has headed the vibrant and strong Employment team since 2015. Elizabeth has an LLB (Hons) degree in Law, a LPC from the College of Law and also is an CEDR accredited Mediator. Elizabeth qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and has practised in Employment law since qualification.
