We have set out below our current estimate of fees for applications made outside and within the UK. These are indicative of our average charges. For an accurate quote please contact our Immigration team to discuss your matter.

The above fee illustrations are is based on an hourly charge rate of £300 which includes the following:

  • discussing your circumstances and confirming whether this is the most appropriate application to make and what other options may be available to you;
  • advising on the requirements of the Immigration Rules and whether you meet the applicable criteria to qualify.
  • considering the supporting evidence you have provided, and where necessary, advising you what further evidence may need to be provided (such as medical records and bank statements)including taking statements of any witnesses;
  • preparing your application and submitting it on your behalf.
  • Advising on time scales and notifying you of the outcome of your application
  • liaising with the Home Office pending the outcome of your application.

If the process becomes complicated the above fees may change. The indicative charges above are for straight forward applications. The number of hours needed, can vary depending on the complexities of the case. If we need to spend additional time in attendance or where further work is required due to unforeseen circumstances the above charges may increase.

If attendance is required at the Home Office or to other locations this will incur and additional which will be notified.

Administration charges

We add an administration charge to each bill of between 4% and 6% (plus VAT if applicable) of the total amount of our professional charges as a contribution to the cost of postage, telephone calls, printing and photocopying. Delivery charges, binding of documents, external printing and copying charges are charged additionally.


Disbursements are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties. These can include Home Office fees, Health Surcharges, Translations fees, travel costs etc.

We may ask for you to pay money on account to cover these as well as our own charges and any applicable VAT


Interpreters can be provided, and the fees associated with interpreters constitute a disbursement therefore if you require an interpreter this will be discussed prior to the appointment as you may have a friend or family member who may wish to provide interpretation for you.

Interpretation is a highly specialised and we use a team of specially trained interpreters.

We can also obtain translation services certified by legal translation professionals who adhere to a strict code of ethics and confidentiality.

Most interpreters charge by the hour and translations by word count or pages (plus VAT)

  • Interpreting time can be charged at £45.00 – £65.00 per hour
  • Translation £75 – £100 per page

Please note that costs may vary due to the availability of interpreters and the document being translated. We can discuss this with you in the event you require an interpreter or documents translated.

Independent expert reports

In some cases, we may need to instruct experts and if this is required further fees maybe payable if we have to find and appoint experts and prepare instructions. These are not required in every case and we will let you know as soon as possible if we consider an expert report is necessary.

If there is an interview and we attend with you, there will be additional disbursements in respect of our mileage/travel expenses.

Our costs quoted do not include:

  • Any Home Office fees for submitting the application.
  • Where the Home Office refuse your application, advice and assistance in relation to any appeal or administrative review
