DWFM Beckman operational update 17 March 2020

As the UK’s response to the Covid-19 outbreak is constantly changing, I wanted to reassure our clients and associates in business, of the steps that we are taking to deal with this crisis.  It is no longer business as we usually know it but DWFM Beckman is geared up to continue to operate.
Our priorities remain to continue to service our clients and to support all our valued staff.

Until Government guidance and policy changes to the contrary, our office premises remain open as usual. Our operational systems and procedures are robust and we are confident that they will allow us to work efficiently and provide business continuity. Our phones and switchboard remain open and calls may be rerouted as may be necessary.  These remote working systems have largely been in place for some time to allow for fee earners to work remotely and we are now putting in place arrangements for our remaining teams to operate remotely as well.

We took steps at the outbreak of the virus in the UK to reduce non-essential business travel and meetings and to hold more telephone and video conferencing meetings to reduce non-essential contact for our clients and staff.  We remain hopeful that business disruption will be minimised.

We recognise that in these extremely difficult times our clients will need support to help them cope with the disruption that will follow.  Please do call us if we can help.
